State-of-the-art equipment is used in each step of the processing, from pole peeling, to automated kiln drying, pressure treating and accelerated fixation. Inspection procedures after the pressure treating process are performed by qualified quality control personnel according to CAN/CSA O80 and/or AWPA standards. An on-site laboratory is used to perform various quality control tests such as preservative concentration, retention, penetration and fixation.
